Leadership
Governed Intelligence was founded by practitioners with decades of experience across:
Automotive systems engineering
Safety-critical compliance
Federal regulatory advisory roles
Enterprise architecture
Standards development
We approach AI governance not as a feature — but as infrastructure.
We built GIF because we lived the frustration. In our decades of work bringing safety-critical systems to market, we watched AI pilots fail not on technical merit, but on their inability to fit into the rigid structures of regulatory accountability. Governed Intelligence was founded to solve that structural problem—permanently.
Our Team
President and CEO
Dr. Robert Yandrofski leads commercialization, investor relations, enterprise positioning, and go-to-market execution at Governed Intelligence.
He is responsible for translating the GI framework into investor-ready strategy, customer-facing products, enterprise pipeline development, and strategic partnerships. Bob brings deep experience in enterprise software, technology commercialization, and organizational leadership — with a track record of building commercial traction around complex technical frameworks.
Robert was the founder and CEO of SkyWay Systems, Inc., which built the first-ever, factory-endorsed aftermarket telematics platform for Ford Motor Company. Bob and SkyWay Systems were founding members of the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA), and currently serves on CVTA’s Automotive AI Committee.
He holds a PhD in Solid State Physics from Harvard University and started his career at IBM Research, where he was an NSF Fellow.

Chairman and CTO
Scott J. McCormick is the originator of interpretive debt and authority drift — the foundational concepts of the Governed Intelligence framework — and the architect of the Automated Governed Intelligence Fabric.
He brings five decades of experience in high-consequence engineering systems across automotive, aerospace, connected vehicles, and institutional governance. His work has shaped vehicle communications architecture, connected vehicle policy, and AI governance frameworks at the federal and international level.
Scott has advised the GAO, FHWA, MDOT, and international regulatory bodies on connected vehicle and AI governance policy. He is President and CEO of the Connected Vehicle Trade Association and Teleoperation Consortium, Co-Chairman of CVTA's Auto AI Board Committee, and was inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 2016 — recognized for developing foundational vehicle communications architecture.
At Governed Intelligence, Scott owns the intellectual core: the framework, the protocols, the governance logic, and the architecture that makes automated lifecycle defensibility possible.
