McCormick’s professional background spans technology development, transportation safety, and institutional systems design. Through his work in connected vehicle technologies and intelligent transportation systems, he has been directly engaged with the integration of algorithmic decision support tools into operational environments where safety, regulatory compliance, and institutional accountability are critical.   He is the Founding President of the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA) and is a frequent Advisor to the US Department of Transportation.
